Zelenskyy condemns US abandonment as Russian strikes kill 78 across Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has criticized what he described as an “unwillingness” by the United States to provide greater assistance to Ukraine, as reported Russian strikes caused heavy casualties across the country. According to the report, 78 people were killed and 215 injured in attacks over a two-day period, intensifying pressure on Kyiv’s international partners to strengthen their support.
Zelenskyy is urging Washington to expand Ukraine’s access to Starlink satellite communications, increase assistance for air-defence systems and impose tougher sanctions on Moscow. These requests reflect Ukraine’s continued efforts to protect civilians, maintain reliable communications and counter Russia’s ongoing missile and drone attacks.
